FASHION DESIGN & SCULPTURAL CONSTRUCTION by Mahsa Shadafarin & Romina Salejegheh
The Cleopatra Corset reinterprets the power and ceremonial elegance of ancient Egyptian royalty through a bold, armour-inspired silhouette. Its hand-textured gold surface gives the piece the appearance of an unearthed artefact, while deep green jewel embellishments introduce contrast, richness, and a sense of regality.
Designed as a piece of wearable sculpture, the corset combines rigid architectural form with adjustable ribbon lacing. The exaggerated shape transforms the body into a commanding silhouette, exploring the relationship between protection, femininity, and power.
